Matt was a great friend. We had the honor of knowing Matt for the past 15 years. The past year Matt joined us for dinner at least one night a week. My children loved him and my husband Ben loved his company when the kids and I went to bed. He had great stories and we have great memmories. My husband will miss there friendship dearly as will the kids and I. May you feel no pain and fly with the angles.

I will never forget the time Elvis wore doggy boots to protect his paws from the snow on one of our Lake Tahoe trips. Matt would have never bought the doggy boots if it hadn't been for me. So to humor us, Elvis suffered the humiliation. We laughed so hard at poor Elvis and his awkward attempt to walk in those silly boots! It was one of those unforgettable moments with Matt and Elvis that I will always cherish. May you rest in peace my beloved...Maria

Although you can't be with me, I know we're not apart, For I will always carry you, deep within my heart. Although you can't be with me, my love will never die, your love is always guiding me, from way up in the sky. Although you can't be with me, I remember you with a smile, Cause we will be together again, not now, but in a while. Written by Dave Hedges.

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn't cry,the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart. ¢¾ From the original poem written by Alena Hakala Meadows.
