Dr. Peter Kasenchak
Oct. 17, 1934-May 29, 2014
Woodside, California
From Barbara Blanchard

PK you are and will always be greatly missed. I am so sorrowful that such a lengthy period passed prior to my attempt to touch base with you, and now I'm posthumous. Wow! Your ongoing exuberance, was exhilarating, and you made life a pleasure in living ones life to the fullest and, will always be remembered, and loved.

I was so saddened to learn of Peter's passing. I first met him as a patient. He was the best dentist ever! And his wonderful personality made it such a pleasure to visit the dentist. I also became friends with Peter through our involvement at Woodside Priory. He was such an ambassador for WPS and because of that my daughter attended high school at WPS. He was angel on earth and I know he is surrounded by the other angels now.

In 1979, as an 8-year old girl having just gotten in my permanent front teeth, they were knocked out and I was taken straight away to Dr. Kasenchak and his dentist chair where I spent many hours of my childhood over the years. Being his amazing self, he made that time happy and fun somehow and no matter how much it hurt, I always looked forward to being around his positive energy and exuberance for life. He would entertain me with jokes and by playing "the sound of music" in a Walkman placed on my belly (no ceiling video screens back then!) I will always hold him dear in my heart and remember him fondly. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Whenever I walk into the PA Dental Clinic to this day I still always hear (and then miss) his "how are you this fine day?" He suggested the Woodside Priory for my son and it is something we and he will always be grateful for. He was a wonderful man and we were so lucky to know him. He will not be forgotten by our family!
