Dave delivered both my sons, 1969 & 1973. We would always have a cup of coffee in his office & chat away. Not only was he a compassionate OB/GYN, he was a brilliant Physician, one who thought out of the box, in general medicine as well., He was gifted, humorous, compassionate, easy-going. What a wonderful human being to have had in my life. I feel blessed. My condolences to his family.
Dr. Baldwin was a treasure. He delivered my second baby (50 years ago) and made the experience more wonderful than I could have hoped for. He gave patients confidence and treated each mother and baby as if they were the most special on earth. We kept him in the family - he delivered my first grandchild to my daughter who needed a little extra help because of a slight physical disability. He stayed all night with us during labor and joined the grateful and happy family for champagne and Hobee's coffee cake after baby John was born. I have been and always will be thankful he was in our lives. He was a gift to the world.
I fondly remember Dr Baldwin's caring, compassionate manner and the twinkle in his eye! I send prayers of comfort to his family during this time of loss.
Dr. Baldwin delivered four of our children. He and Patty were such a warm and caring team. I'll never forget our experiences together and value our friendship. Our Lamaze group started and facilitated by the Baldwins still gets together each year. Now those kids are 29 years old. Rest In Peace Davis. We will not forget you!??????
With great sadness I read about the one and only Davis Baldwin. And believe me when I say one and only, there will never be another like him. I was lucky enough to work for him in the early 80's and he delivered two of my children. He was compassionate, hysterically funny and had the most wicked sense of humor ever. He and Patty made a great team. Blessings to Patty, PJ, and Lucy and the rest of the Baldwin Family. He will be greatly missed but heaven just got a whole lot funnier.
