I was sorry to learn of David's recent death. I remember connecting our Brown Family genealogies a number of years ago, and enjoyed reading his booklet "Brown & Burger family Letters". I could tell from our correspondence that he was a man of many talents and accomplishments. I am sure he will be missed by his family and many acquaintances.

Sally, I just read of David's death. What a wonderful man! You were a special part of a generation...where couples were known as 'couples' 'Sally and David'. I remember seeing you at Asilomar at Annual Meeting; usually together. One of my books of alcoholism is your joint effort on the biography of Marty Mann. I shall tell the Carmelite Sisters at the monastery here in Kensington to pray for the 'repose of David's soul.' My blessings and prayers will be with you as you travel through this change in life.
