Sue Kavinoky, who was born Oct. 30, 1946, died May 15, 2015. Sue had taught Spanish and German at Egan Jr. High School in Los Altos for over 40 years. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Palo Alto and was a member of the Stanford Women's Chorus. She is survived by her husband Larry Kavinoky.

I met Larry through his parents Bee & Bob Kavinoky (across the street neighbors), and saw how warmly everyone welcomed Sue into the family. Larry & Sue were of our College Terrace community; I saw them often and everywhere, walking hand in hand, him tall and Sue not so much, she keeping him down to earth as he led the way into local adventures. You are in our thoughts.
