Shuroma Herekar, born Oct. 19, 1955, in Mumbai, India, passed away on Nov. 18, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bakul Herekar. They have settled in California since 1983. Shuroma was a senior technical publication manager at Oracle Corporation. She was also a gifted cook, artist and a lover of all things elegant and beautiful like herself. She was the older daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manna Dey of Mumbai, India. They preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Shumita Deb, and brother-in-law, Jnan Deb, residing in Bangalore, India. She will always be remembered and cherished by her friends and family for the love she gave and her ever-present grace and generous spirit.
