Dr. Leonard Goldberg died peacefully at home in Mountain View on Oct. 1. He will be remembered with great love by his family, friends and colleagues. His patients knew him as a skilled and compassionate physician. Leonard practiced Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease at the Sunnyvale Medical Clinic (PAMF) and El Camino Hospital for 25 years. He was one of few doctors who treated people with HIV/AIDS in the early 1980s. Clinical expertise and wise counsel were but two of many attributes. In his retirement he enjoyed travel, hiking and camping in the deserts and mountains of California, Utah and Arizona. His daily pastime was tending his garden. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife Terri and his many family members.
