Jose Luis Navarro, lovingly called "Pepe" by those who knew him and loved him, passed away on April 28th, 2013 at age 56, due to medical complications. He was a long-time resident of Sunnyvale and Mountain View, where he lived with his wife of nearly 22 years.

He worked at MacArthur Park Restaurant, in Palo Alto for 26 years, where he was well loved by coworkers and those who were frequent visitors. He also worked at Crown Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto where those that knew him also esteemed him highly.

He is survived by his wife Isabel Ramos Navarro, five children, Alexandra, David, Luis, Christopher, and Jennifer Navarro Halterman (married to Jonathan Halterman) and two grandchildren, Avery and Rory. He is also survived by his 4 brothers, Alejandro, Eduardo, Sergio, Flavio and two sisters Patricia and Selva, and many nieces and nephews, including Selva Trigueros and Jose Frias whom he raised.
