Grant Lindholm
March 16, 1953-March 2, 2025
Palo Alto, California

Grant Lindholm, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a courageous three-year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Born and raised in Palo Alto, Grant remained a proud lifelong resident of the city that he called home, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Grant graduated from Cubberley High School and attended Chico State University, where he made lifelong friends and developed a deep appreciation for learning and camaraderie. He went on to build a 45-year career in commercial real estate, where his knowledge, professionalism, and integrity earned him the respect of clients and colleagues alike. Grant was known for cultivating strong relationships and for his dedication to his work, but he always prioritized time with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Kathy, his loving daughter Brooke, his devoted son-in-law Misha, and his treasured granddaughter Gia as well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends meant everything to Grant, and he was never happier than when he was surrounded by loved ones — sharing stories, reminiscing, playing games, or enjoying a meal together. Grant spent countless hours volunteering and serving on boards with local organizations. Greenmeadow Community Association, Heart Fit for Life, CALA, Palo Alto Girl’s Softball and Palo Alto Elks Lodge were among his favorites. A natural entertainer, Grant loved hosting gatherings and took great pride in his bartending skills. His gatherings were filled with laughter, good conversation, and a deep sense of connection. His passion for reading and learning allowed him to converse on subjects ranging from politics to investing to astrology but his expertise was anything real estate related.

Grant will be remembered for his warmth, humor, wisdom, and devotion to his family and community. His love for his hometown of Palo Alto, his thoughtful approach to life, and his ability to bring people together will leave a lasting impact on all who knew him.
